Colchester Deanery Chapter

All Church of England Clergy living or working in the Deanery of Colchester are invited to fellowship as part of the Deanery Chapter, including  licensed ministers, those with Permission to Officiate, and retired ministers.

We meet around 6 times per year. Our usual programme includes a Social evening in January, a Lunchtime Meeting in June, House of Clergy Meetings in March and September, and Holy Communion followed by a Chapter Breakfast in November.

Dates, times and venues for future meetings can be viewed on our Calendar page.

The Colchester Clerical Society meets for fellowship, talks and lunch on the second Monday of each month.

Next year's programme will be available soon. All of our ministers - and those of other denominations around Colchester - will be welcomed.

Each month, we email a digest of Deanery news to Clergy and to all Lay members of Deanery Synod - so we ask all Clergy to ensure that their contact details are kept up to date with our Chapter Clerk, Ian Scott-Thompson.
